South-Eastern Europe Brigade (SEEBRIG) - formation established by seven participating nations in order to contribute to the regional security and stability in the Euro-Atlantic area

SEEBRIG Commander participation to “1st Infantry Brigade Day” celebration, 2 April 2022, Skopje/Na-5

The members of 1st Infantry Brigade as part of the Operations Command have celebrated their unit day with a military ceremony, while including all standing anti-covid measures. The celebration was held in Strasho Pindzur Barracks in Petrovec, near Skopje on 2nd of April 2022.

Commander of SEEBRIG, together with other military representatives from the country and abroad, participated to this activity as sign of close cooperation between SEEBRIG HQ, Operations command and 1st Infantry Brigade.

Chief of the General staff of the Army LTG Vasko GJURCHINOVSKI congratulated to brigade members for their professionalism, quality and very high results while assisting the police forces managing the migrant crises, securing the southern border and assisting all state institutions in fighting with Covid-19 pandemic.

The Minister of Defense Mrs. Slavianka PETROVSKA mentioned the role of The Light Infantry Battalion which is part of the brigade and a declared unit who participated in different exercises and activities together with NATO forces.

On this occasion, different awards and stimulating measures were presented to the brigade members for their great work results and unselfish assistance to other institutions.
