The command Handover – Takeover of Balkan Medical Task Force, 30 June 2022, Skopje / Na-5
On the 30th of June 2022, Commander of SEEBRIG, BG Evangelos MITROUTSIKOS, participated in the Command Handover-Takeover ceremony of Balkan Medical Task Force-Steering Board (BMTF-SB) and Balkan Medical Task Force-Standing Organization (BMTF-SO) in “ILINDEN” Barracks, Skopje/ Na-5.
During the ceremony, Mr. Robert Stražišar handed over the position of BMTF-SB Chairman to COL Zlatko Bogosavljević and COL Zaim Shkrijelj handed over position of BMTF Commander to LTC Igor Stergar. Concurrently, Slovenian Armed Forces took position as a Framework Nation from the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of North Macedonia, Mr. Bashkim Hasani, the Deputy Chief of Defense MG Azim Nuredini and by a delegation of the Republic of Slovenia, led by Deputy Chief of Staff BG Anže Rode. Other BMTF participating nations were represented by Ambassadors, Deputy Heads of Diplomatic Mission, Military Attachés, and SB members and, additionally, by BMTF partner nation representatives from Kingdom of Norway and The United States of America.
