COMSEEBRIG visit to Chief of Defense of Na-5, 11 December 2023, Skopje

On 11 December 2023, COMSEEBRIG, Brigadier General Bilbil BITRI had the privilege to meet the Chief of Defense of Na-5, Lieutenant General Vasko GJURCHINOVSKI.

Since the deployment in Na-5, Kumanovo is home for the SEEBRIG HQ and it is a second home for its multinational personnel. BG BITRI extended the appreciation and gratitude to LTG GJURCHINOVSKI for his unwavering support to SEEBRIG and that engagement and the support of Na-5 as Host Nation.

BG BITRI made a brief expose of SEEBRIG HQ NS work during 2023 and also used the opportunity to share his vision for the future of SEEBRIG and main objectives for 2024. He emphasized the importance of increased interaction with affiliated units, increased cooperation with NATO structures and entities, International Organizations and Non-Government Organization, and training and exercises of HQ and the affiliated units to achieve objectives, which will contribute to an active engagement of SEEBRIG in Peace Support Operations and Disaster Relief Operations, if Nations were to decide so.

LTG GJURCHINOVSKI reaffirmed his strong personal support and reassured the continuous support of the Armed Forces of Na-5 to SEEBRIG HQ.
