Evaluation Visit to Na-2 SEEBRIG Affiliated Units, 02-05 December 2024
From December 2nd to 5th, an HQ evaluation team, led by the SEEBRIG Commander, BG. Bilbil BITRI, conducted an extensive review of the capabilities of the Na-2 (Bulgaria) affiliated units. The team visited units based in Stara Zagora and Plovdiv, where they had the opportunity to meet in person with military personnel. The encounter highlighted the professionalism and positive attitudes of the troops, reflecting their commitment to excellence.
It was particularly impressive to see the high level of preparedness within the units. The soldiers were not only well-equipped but also highly motivated and professionally trained to carry out their missions with precision and confidence. The equipment, weapon systems, and vehicles were found to be in excellent condition, meeting all required standards. Furthermore, the capability demonstrations conducted by the units reinforced the evaluation team’s impression that the Na-2 affiliated units adhere to the highest NATO standards, remaining fully capable of executing any mission efficiently and effectively within the framework of Peace Support Operations (PSO).
The final assessment confirmed that these units maintain the necessary training and operational readiness to successfully complete any SEEBRIG mission in a Peace Support Environment.
