COMSEEBRIG MESSAGE FOR THE NEW YEAR 2018

First, I want to congratulate everyone for a job well done this year. In the first 4 months of my command we successfully conducted all the activities as per our Annual Plan 2017 and had it enriched even more. We took every training opportunity available and strengthened our capabilities and interoperability with NATO. We implemented great new ideas through your creative thinking, innovation and hard work. But the challenge does not end with the ending of 2017.

We still face great challenges. Each and every day of 2018 will provide us with opportunities to exceed the standards we’ve set for ourselves. Training, planning and conduct of exercises, the evaluation activities will demand us to anticipate and be proactive in order to make our organization more reliable, sustainable, faster, effective, and more efficient. Advances don’t happen easily. We have to look deeply into the problems and understand not only the military aspects but also the larger SEDM process. Sometimes it’s not the elegance of the solution, but simplicity that is really of the most value to SEEBRIG.

I challenge you to break status quos and bring up with new ideas and new advances in everything we produce. Let’s keep and advance SEEBRIG as a dynamic and recognizable vector of military value and regional defense cooperation. There’s no one else in the South-Eastern Europe who does this mission but you.
