Your excellencies Ministers,

Ambasadors,

Generals,

Distinguished Guests,

Dear Participants,

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Allow me first, to congratulate those that made this happen, convey recognitions to the integral SEEBRIG HQ on their achievements and at the same time express my sincere gratitude to the host nation for their full cooperation and support, providing for us an excellent infrastructure and all facilities needed.

Here in the hart of Thessaly, I feel honored and privileged to take-over the responsibilities as the commander of SEEBRIG. For me this is a more then just a career achievement; it is a momentum which needs prudent approach to thinking about the future, a future which is dynamic and quite unpredictable.

Therefore, SEEBRIG must continue to grow while always remaining adaptable, motivated, responsive and open to new ideas.
SEEBRIG has the very same role in military terms, to bring multiculturalism and enhance multinational friendship and contemporary political and military cooperation of the region. SEEBRIG represents today an outstanding outcome of South Eastern Europe Strategic Security Environment. This is exactly what our Nations wished to have, a military structure capable to assure peace and stability within our region and beyond that.

I am here to serve that goal and I am proud to be in Larissa today. I am convinced that being in command with SEEBRIG will definitely contribute to build an effective military cooperation and create a spirit of trust among our respective militaries.

I may assure you that SEEBRIG personnel are keen to work hard to meet all requirements, ready to contribute in operations, whenever required.

Now please allow me to turn the attention to my predecessor:
Dear Brigadier General Faruk METİN,

During your tour of duty, You have done a great job, which is highly appreciated. On this special occasion, on behalf of all SEEBRIG personnel and myself, may I wish you all the best, good luck and great success in your future career.

On this occasion, I take the opportunity to congratulate all the commanders of the units affiliated to SEEBRIG, for the results achieved till this moment. For the next period, the main effort will be focused on increasing the interoperability among the six nations, in order to be ready to fulflill our mission.
