South-Eastern Europe Brigade (SEEBRIG) - formation established by seven participating nations in order to contribute to the regional security and stability in the Euro-Atlantic area

SEDM Ministerial Meeting 10-11 Oct 2017 Batumi/Georgia

A delegation headed by Commander of SEEBRIG, BG Tudorică PETRACHE participated in the South-Eastern Defence Ministerial (SEDM) meeting held in Batumi, Georgia, on 11th of October 2017.

  In this high level meeting, Ministers from member nations of SEEBRIG approved, among other issues, SEEBRIG’s Annual Plan and Budget Plan for 2018.
Moreover, this meeting was the first one under the Athens SEDM Chairmanship, which made a briefing about the main events from the last SEDM meeeting held in Rome and current projects SEDM/CC is dealing with. COMSEEBRIG had the oportunity to inform the high level participants with all current and planned activities and to express SEEBRIG’s future perspectives.
Finally, ministers expressed in a Joint Statement their will and devotion to promote enduring-peace, stability and security in the region of Southeastern Europe.
