SEEBRIG HQ Visit to Na-3 EU Operational HQ

On 19 December 2017 a delegation of 15 officers from SEEBRIG HQ led by COMSEEBRIG, BG Tudorică PETRACHE, visited the Na-3 EU OHQ in Larissa. SEEBRIG Delegation was welcomed by COS Na-3 EU HQ, MG Petros DEMESTIHAS. This HQ is one of the six activated EU HQs in the whole Europe that can assume an operational mission. Its most recent mission was to lead the EU operation in Republic of Central Africa in 2014-2015.

The purpose of the visit was to get aquainted with the mission and organization of Na-3 EU OHQ and seek practical ways to strenghten the cooperation between the two multinational HQs.

The program of the visit included a briefing about the activity of EL EU OHQ, a tour in the staff working areas, a presentation of Joint Operations Centre and the signing of the Honor Book by COMSEEBRIG.

It was agreed that SEEBRIG and EL EU OHQ should establish a closer cooperation especially for training purposes, as their spectrum of anticipated missions is almost the same and both can operate under a EU Command.
