South-Eastern Europe Brigade (SEEBRIG) - formation established by seven participating nations in order to contribute to the regional security and stability in the Euro-Atlantic area

Visit to Exercise „Decisive Strike – 21“, 20 May 2021, Krivolak/Na-5

On 20th of May 2021, a SEEBRIG delegation visited the Training Support Center (TSC) „Krivolak“, where the exercise „Decisive Strike – 21“ is currently taking place.

The SEEBRIG HQ team was led by the COS and consisted of DCOS OPS, CG3, CG7, G3-TRG and G7-OPS.

The exercise “Decisive Strike – 21” is a national field training exercise taking place between 17th of May and 1st of June 2021 at the Training Support Centre (TSC) Krivolak, with several international participants, under the framework of NATO series of exercises “DEFENDER EUROPE 21”. The exercise has been organized and led by a planning team from Na-5, supported by planners from the United States Armed Forces and 2 NATO countries (Na-2 and Na-3).The final outcome of this respective exercise will ensure the exchange of knowledge and skills among the armed forces of the participating countries and help increase the level of interoperability.

During the visit, the Director of the exercise COL Blaze Nikolovski, has presented a short briefing for SEEBRIG team with the main information about the exercise and after that the delegation got the chance to visit the exercise control location and the troops on the training field, troops of the 2nd INF Battalion, which provides the affiliated units for SEEBRIG.

For SEEBRIG HQ this visit was a good opportunity to enhance the mutual understanding and increase the level of the cooperation with Host-Nation, and thus increase the success of our future exercises/operations.
