Visit of SEEBRIG HQ delegation to EUFOR HQ, 27 April 2023, Sarajevo

On 27th of April a delegation from SEEBRIG HQ led by BG Evangelos MITROUTSIKOS paid a visit to EUFOR HQ in Camp Butmir, Sarajevo.

During the office call that started the visit the EUFOR Commander, MG Helmut HABERMAYER, was informed about the missions, main activities and future activities of the SEEBIG HQ. This was followed by a wide range of briefs from the staff of EUFOR HQ, including EUFOR’s Reserve Force Concept and contingency planning.

Considering SEEBRIG’s mission which is associated with the framework of UN, NATO, OSCE and EU this visit with relevant military organization in our region such as EUFOR will enhance coordination and building close working ties

and will strengthen and continue to contribute to peace, stability and security in the region of Southeastern Europe.

At the end of the visit, Both Commanders agreed to investigate the possibility of enhancing the relationship between the two formations.
