SEEBRIG steps in to 2025!

The 2024 was a milestone mark a quarter of a century dedicated to fostering regional security and promoting peace.

Twenty-five years ago, SEEBRIG was founded on the principles of cooperation, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to defending the values that bind us. From our inception, we have stood as a beacon of unity, bringing together nations from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and histories.

We know that our journey will not be without its difficulties. We have to adapt to an ever-changing world, where the nature of threats evolves and where our responses must be both swift and decisive.

We see every day that world is not in peace and conflicts raise in different countries and for us as military it is paramount for us to be prepared and ready for the mission. All activities planned for the year 2025 will contribute and support SEEBRIGs operational readiness and further improve capabilities. “Seven Stars-25” Exercise as the main training activity for SEEBRIG, enables improvement of operational readiness through exercising HQ SEEBRIG and the assigned units, developing a common understanding of Peace Support Operations (PSO) and Humanitarian Assistance, but most important testing and improving operational interoperability.

Other activities like high level visits, interaction and exchange of information, expertise and experience with other military entities and regional organizations will improve situational awareness and contribute to the adoption to the new security environment and challenges.

Moral and welfare of the personnel is a key element for the success and strengthening the team spirit. A study trip and other social and sport activities will bring closer together HQ personnel and their family members as a big “SEEBRIG Family”.

In order to be prepared to face the challenges of the coming year, through the continuous improvement with unwavering dedication, focusing on operational readiness, multinational cooperation, and training we will continue to advance our mission, ensuring that SEEBRIG remains as important organization that will contribute to regional security and stability while promoting harmonious relationships among South-Eastern European Countries.

Let’s start this new year as a new chapter with the wish and goal to make world a better place under the motto “One Team One Mission”.
