SEEBRIG HQ personnel attended the First Aid Training Course, 15 – 16 February, 2023, Skopje/Na-5

According to SEEBRIG HQ Annual Plan for 2023, first collective training activity for SEEBRIG HQ Nucleus Staff was provided by Medical Support Battalion/Na-5 Army, on 15 and 16 February 2023 at its premises in Skopje (Medical Training Department).

First Aid Training imparts confidence to step up and take action when an emergency occurs. Moreover, it is a fundamental qualification for our personnel, due to the fact that SEEBRIG HQ is possible to engage in a wide range of peace support and humanitarian operations.

During the training, 27 participants enhanced their knowledge regarding the provision of First Aid, focus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Hemostasis, Cervical collar, Immobilization and Gunshot Wound (GSW). All the topics were theoretically explained and practically applied.

At the end of the activity, COS of SEEBRIG COL Zlatko GJORGJIOVSKI congratulated the trainers for their high educational level, he underlined that the training was fruitful and productive for all the participants and expressed his thanks to the Commander of the Medical Support Battalion, LTC Elizabeta NAUMOSKA-PETRESKI and Chief of Medical Training Department LTC Irena DINEVA for the excellent cooperation with SEEBRIG HQ and organization of the course.
