South-Eastern Europe Brigade (SEEBRIG) - formation established by seven participating nations in order to contribute to the regional security and stability in the Euro-Atlantic area

Participation of SEEBRIG delegation in the MPC of Ex GORDIAN KNOT 17

 The Main Planning Conference (MPC) of Exercise Gordian Knot 2017 (GOKT17) took place in Thessaloniki, Na3 in the premises of NRDC GR from 14 to 15 of March 2017.

 The aim of the conference was to:
a.    Examine feasible missions for SEEBRIG within the framework of Ex GOKT 17.(Training and Engineer support).
b.    Present the EXSPECs.
c.    Review/Update EXPLAN Development in order to have a consolidated draft.
d.    Finalise TA and EXCON manning requirements and to determine the manpower accordingly.
e.    Review CIS architecture and determine the general CIS layout and services.
f.    Determine the pre-deployment overview and generic layout with initial requirements.
g.    Update the CRP phase (organisation, manning, scenario).
h.    Update on Scenario and MEL/MIL issues.
i.    Finalize the integration plan for augmentation.

SEEBRIG HQ was represented by a robust delegation of eight staff officers headed by DCOSOPS COL Ljupcho SPASEVSKI, Na5, covering the steering, manning, CIS and RLS syndicates.

The Conference was fruitful for SEEBRIG HQ on its way of participating in this Exercise with a response cell.
