South-Eastern Europe Brigade (SEEBRIG) - formation established by seven participating nations in order to contribute to the regional security and stability in the Euro-Atlantic area

DCHOD Meeting, Podgorica/MONTENEGRO, 06-08 June 2017

Deputy Chiefs of Defense (DCHOD) Meeting was convened in Podgorica/MONTENEGRO on 06-08 June 2017 with the representatives of SEDM countries, which are determined to promote peace, security, stability and cooperation in the region of Southeastern Europe through the SEDM process. SEEBRIG participated in the meeting with the delegation led by the Commander of SEEBRIG, Brigadier General Faruk METIN.

   During the DCHOD Meeting, COMSEEBRIG BG Faruk METIN gave a presentation about the main activities of SEEBRIG since the last DCHOD meeting and briefed the respectable delegates on the exercises that SEEBRIG plans to participate in 2017. Also, PMSC/SEDM-CC Chairmanship extended their invitation for Hand Over-Take Over (HOTO) Ceremony of PMSC/SEDM-CC Chairmanship and the Change-of-Command of COMSEEBRIG which is scheduled to take place on 22-23 August 2017.
The Chairman of SEDM-CC/PMSC extended his sincere thanks to COMSEEBRIG BG Faruk METİN for his tireless work to enhance  the effectiveness of SEEBRIG as a tool to actively contribute to peace, security, stability and cooperation in South Eastern Europe and beyond.
Following the meeting, an official dinner was hosted by the Acting Deputy Chief of General Staff of Montenegro CAPT(N) Darko VUKOVIC.
