South-Eastern Europe Brigade (SEEBRIG) - formation established by seven participating nations in order to contribute to the regional security and stability in the Euro-Atlantic area

The 44th South-Eastern European Ministerial Defense Process Coordination Committee (SEDM-CC) and 45th Politico-Military Steering Committee (PMSC) Meetings, 17 March 2021

The 44th SEDM-CC and 45th PMSC Meetings of the SEDM process were held under the Albanian Chairmanship on 17 March 2021 via VTC, due to COVID 19 pandemic restrictions.SEDM member countries, SEEBRIG Commander, and representatives from RACVIAC and UNDP SEESAC attended the above-mentioned meetings, chaired by Mr. Gjergj Methoxha, Director of SEDM Secretariat.
SEEBRIG Commander presented an update of SEEBRIG activities, the annual report for year 2020, the main activities from last PMSC Meeting as well as the planned activities for 2021 and SEEBRIG future perspectives. He also highlighted the implications of COVID-19 pandemic on SEEBRIG activities and the protective measures that were implemented such as low manning roster and work from distance. In addition to that, the PMSC member nations endorsed the proposal for the cancellation of “Exercise SEVEN STARS 21”.
SEEBRIG HQ COS presented a briefing about the proposed plan for the double ceremony for HO-TO of SEDM-CC/PMSC Chairmanship and SEEBRIG 22nd Anniversary, which is going to be held on the 26th of August 2021, in HQ SEEBRIG location from Kumanovo/Na 5.
All the topics, programs and projects of SEDM initiatives were discussed in a fruitful atmosphere, friendly spirit, and mutual understanding.
