Participation of SEEBRIG personnel in the Tactical Planning Process (TPP) for exercise STEADFAST DEFENDER 21 in NATO MND-SE HQ, Bucharest/Na-6, 15-19 March 2021

Between 15th and 19th of March 2021 HQ MND-SE conducted in Bucharest the TPP for the Exercise “Steadfast Defender 21”.

SEEBRIG HQ took part in this planning activity with one representative from its Operations Branch, CPT Adrian Zlotea. SEEBRIG HQ representative participated in the tactical planning focusing on the steps of the process from the Receipt of the Mission from the Higher Echelon, to Mission Analysis, Courses of Action development, comparison and decision and then to Operations Order development.

The event provided useful lessons about exercise design and a great opportunity for interaction with MND-SE planning teams and with other military structures’ representatives.

Participation in this planning phase and, later on, in the execution phase of the exercise is a good opportunity for SEEBRIG to enhance the preparedness for NATO-led Operations, to increase its visibility among NATO countries and to strengthen the mutual trust and collaboration between MND-SE and SEEBRIG.
