South-Eastern Europe Brigade (SEEBRIG) - formation established by seven participating nations in order to contribute to the regional security and stability in the Euro-Atlantic area

SEEBRIG Commander visit to Regional Arms Control Verification and Implementation Assistance Centre (RACVIAC), 25 February 2020, Zagreb, Croatia

COMSEEBRIG BG Tudorică Petrache, accompanied by two staff members, conducted an official visit to RACVIAC – Centre for security Cooperation in Zagreb – Croatia, according with SEEBRIG Annual Plan 2020.

The delegation was received by Director of RACVIAC MG (ret.) Jeronim Bazo. After a short official call, COMSEEBRIG was briefed about RACVIAC history, structures, mission, main areas of interests and facilities. BG Petrache had the opportunity to reveal to RACVIAC staff members insights about SEEBRIG’s history, mission, structure, capabilities, exercises, training, and cooperation with other NATO and non-NATO entities.

During the discussions that followed, both sides agreed on strengthening the future cooperation through exercises, courses, seminars, workshops and sharing lessons learned in the area of common interest.

This visit was a good opportunity for SEEBRIG to increase the visibility among the relevant regional organizations and to foster the cooperation with RACVIAC.
