South-Eastern Europe Brigade (SEEBRIG) - formation established by seven participating nations in order to contribute to the regional security and stability in the Euro-Atlantic area

SEEBRIG HQ staff visit to SHAPE in Mons, Belgium, 1-3 April 2019

On 2nd of April 2019, SEEBRIG delegation headed by the Commander BG Tudorică PETRACHE, paid an official visit to Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers in Mons – Belgium.

During the visit, a team from Comprehensive Crisis and Operations Management Centre (CCOMC) delivered a briefing about ACO overview, current operations, tasks and functional structure. CCOMC is SHAPE’s organization for thinking, planning and acting strategically and comprehensively in multiple crises and operations simultaneously. Additionally, more information about today NATO current operations, enablement challenges and joint logistic support were provided to our delegation.
In his briefing, COMSEEBRIG emphasized the outstanding cooperation SEEBRIG HQ has with NATO, especially with NRDC-Gr, NRDC-Esp, NRDC-Tur and MND-SE, in terms of common training and lesson learned.
On the same day, COMSEEBRIG met with NMRs from Na-2, Na-6 and Na-7 and discussed about SEEBRIG medium and long term projects, collaboration with NATO entities and other topics regarding national concerns.
This was the last activity from a series of high level visits planned by SEEBRIG in 2019, which aimed to foster the cooperation with international organizations, create sustainable coordination channels with them, increase SEEBRIG’s visibility and promote our structure as a pillar of regional stability.
