Distinguished Visitors Day (DV Day) of the Exercise “SEVEN STARS – 18”, 16 November 2018, Tyrnavos, Na3

The DV Day was conducted in Camp Schina, Tyrnavos, during the last day of the exercise and was attended by high level political and military representatives from the participating nations and organizations. The distinguished visitors were welcomed by the Commander of SEEBRIG, BG Tudorică PETRACHE, the Chief of Staff COL Andreas DOULIS and the Senior National Representatives from SEEBRIG HQ.

The program of the DV Day was comprehensive with briefings, visits to exercise areas (Staff Divisions, Tactical Operations Centre, HICON, Response Cells of the Affiliated Units), static display of military equipment and a dynamic demonstration of Peace Support Activities presented by the Host Nation Army. The guests had the opportunity to witness SEEBRIG capability to conduct challenging tasks of Peace Support Operations (PSO), Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response Operations and to acknowledgte the successful accomplishment of Exercise objectives.

The DV Day participants also attended the Closing Ceremony of the Exercise “SEVEN STARS – 18”, where Commander of SEEBRIG, BG Tudorică PETRACHE and Na3 Deputy Chief of Defense, LTG Konstatinos FLOROS, thanked the exercise participants for their contribution to exercise success and emphasized the contribution of SEEBRIG to regional peace and stability.
