KEY LEADER TRAINING (KLT) TYRNAVOS 16-17 APRIL 2018
According to Annual Plan and connected with Exercise SEVEN STARS 18 a Key Leader Training (KLT) was conducted from 16 – 17 April 2018 in Camp Schina, Tyrnavos (Na 3).
COMSEEBRIG intention was to bring together all affiliated units commanders in this two days training with the following main objectives:
– To give his guidance to affiliated units commanders about SEEBRIG mission, training and preparation.
– To provide participants with topics related to PSO from Expert Subject Matters (ESM) personnel.
– To provide participants with generic information about SS-18 exercise and staff training in different aspects in order to prepare them for the execution phase on Nov 18 in which their presence will give an added value. In KLT there where speakers representing different nation military organizations covering topics related to Peace Support Operations such as CMDR COE (Lt Col Stoyan Stoyanov), MPSOTC Kilkis (Cpt Savvas Chrysoulidis) and Na-6 MTT for Gender Perspective in UN Operations (Mrs Daniela Roman, Lt Cdr Romeo Sternat, Cpt Iulia Asandului). There were also civilians such as Dr. Maria Alvanou and Prof. Christos Kollias who brought into discussion the civilian perspective of the military operations. At the end of this training activity COMSEEBRIG and the audience appreciated the efforts of the instructors and it was a common agreement that the objectives were reached and this type of activity should be repeated.
