Visit of SEEBRIG HQ delegation to RACVIAC, 04 May 2023, Zagreb
On 04th of May a delegation from SEEBRIG HQ led by COMSEEBRIG, BG Evangelos MITROUTSIKOS, paid a visit to Regional Arms Control Verification and Implementation Centre (RACVIAC) in Zagreb.
The delegation was welcomed and hosted by RACVIAC team headed by RACVIAC Director, Ambassador Constantin-Mihail GRIGORIE.
During the meeting SEEBRIG delegation was presented with general information about the Organization and some specific areas they were interested in, followed by A SEEBRIG presentation of its mission and future plans. The presentations were followed by a discussion on future cooperation and areas of mutual interest.
As proof of the good cooperation between these two organizations, it should be noted that RACVIAC Mobile Training Team will carry out the “Women and Security – Gender Awareness Course” which will take place in Kumanovo between 12 and 16 June 2023. Its purpose is to increase the awareness of SEEBRIG Staff about the gender perspective and its implementation in Peace Support Operations.
