SEEBRIG HQ Activation in New Location, Command Handover-Takeover And 21st Anniversary Ceremony, Kumanovo/Na-5, 26 August 2020

On 26 August 2020, in the barracks “Boro Menkov” in Kumanovo, took place the official ceremony on the occasion of the Activation of the Brigade HQ in its new location, Command Handover-Takeover between Brigadier General Tudorica Petrache (Nation 6) and Brigadier General Aristeidis Iliopoulos (Nation 3) and 21st Anniversary of the Brigade.

 

The ceremony, held with strict observation of guidelines for Protection and Prevention of the Spread of “COVID19”, was attended by the President and the Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia, the Chairman of SEDM-CC&PMSC, the Minister of Defence and the Deputy Minister of Defence from Republic of North Macedonia, ambassadors accredited in Skopje, Deputy Chiefs of Defence from member countries, military leadership of the Host Nation (Nation 5), military attachés, local authorities and media.

 

The newly renovated and equipped facility provided for the HQ by Host Nation (Nation 5) were opened in a ceremonial manner by the highest officials of Host Nation and SEDM-CC & PMSC, and will be the home of the Brigade HQ for the period 2020-2026.
