Evaluation Visit to Na7 SEEBRIG Affiliated Units (02-06 December 2019, Na7)

The SEEBRIG Evaluation Team, headed by Brigadier General Tudorica PETRACHE, conducted an evaluation visit to Na-7 SEEBRIG affiliated units from 02-06 December 2019 according to SEEBRIG HQ Annual Plan for 2019.
On the first day, 02 December 2019, COM and DCOSOPS paid an official visit to Turkish Land Forces 1st Army Commander General Musa AVSEVER, COS Brigadier General Faruk YILDIRIM and NRDC-T COM, Lt. GEN Kemal YENİ. During the meetings the importance of cooperation, the role of SEEBRIG and good neighbourly relations were emphasized once again.
On the second day, 03 December 2019, the SEEBRIG Evaluation Team continued its evalution with Mechanized Battalion, Engineer Coy and Artillery Battery located in Çerkezköy/Tekirdağ garrison. The Commander of the 3rd Armored Brigade welcomed the delegation at Brigade’s HQ. Then Mech.Bn. COM presented a briefing about the organization, personnel, equipment, logistics and communication of the units. After the briefing, the units of the Mechanized Battalion, Artillery Battery and Engineer Coy were inspected in the training field. The equipment and the vehicles were checked on site. The mechanized infantry battalion conducted a mini exercise including peace

support and humanitarian assistance capabilities.
The next day, 04 December 2019, the Evaluation Team moved to Beşiktepe/Tekirdağ garrison in order to evaluate the Recce Coy. Recce Coy commander briefed delegation about capabilities of his unit. Afterwards, Recce Company performed static display of its equipment and dynamic display that confirmed its PSO capabilities through an exercise conducted under severe weather conditions.
The Last Day, 05 December 2019, Transportation Platoon located in Metris/Istanbul was evaluated. The Commander of Transportation Management Center together with the Battalion Commander and Coy Commander welcomed the delegation. There after the briefing presented to delegation, the Transportation Platoon demonstrated its capabilities relevant to PSO both in static and dynamic display.
As a result, SEEBRIG personnel found a great opportunity to familiarize themselves with the capabilities, training standards, vehicles, equipment and weaponry systems of affiliated units and to meet their counterparts and key leaders.
